Eventbrite endpoint for /events/:id/publish returns "POST method not allowed for the requested resource" error

I can log in to my account and publish an event series, but cannot do it through the API. It returns the above error. Does anyone have an idea why?

Also updating an event ignores the parameters and responds like a get request.
