Type Ahead Lines

Is there a way to limit type ahead lines? For example if a player enters look 100 times the server will process this as it can. I would like to limit the type ahead lines to 3, so the player could type look 100 times but it would only process 3.

So if the player is spamming, they would receive a message such as: You may only have x type ahead lines.

No, there is currently no such flood prevention in the default system. Sounds like a reasonable thing to have though. Make a Feature Request for it in the Issue tracker so it's not forgotten.

Haven't implemented in Evennia yet, but we used command a command queue in a MOO I used to run. It had a one-second delay between commands and buffered a max of three commands at a time. It allowed us to do a lot of stuff beyond controlling keyboard spam. It was a huge factor in combat mechanics.
