65 Barracuda hood

Hello everyone,

I hope you're having a great labor day weekend!

Unfortunately I got into an accident yesterday and now I need a new
hood for my 65 Barracuda. Does anyone in the Los Angeles/ Southern
California area have one?

Also, does the hood from a Valiant fit? What about the 66 Valiant/
Barracuda? I know they the emblem and the hood latch are different,
but I think I can make that work. It's just the question if the shape
of the sheet metal is the same. Please let me know.

Steve,
You need a 1964 or 1965 Valiant or Barracuda hood. No 1966 hood will fit.
The good news is the '64 & '65 hoods are much more plentiful.

64 and 65 Valiant and barracuda hoods will interchange with minor mods.
66 Valiant and cuda will not fit with out major reworking.

steve, i do have an extra hood from my 64 parts barracuda. it is identical to the 65. bad news is i live in pa. if you really get in a bind and can't find one it could be shipped greyhound if you want to go that route. jeff
