Europeana API downtime, Wednesday 15th October 2015

Hi,

Apologies for the late notice, but we have been informed by our hosting company that due to some essential hardware maintenance tomorrow, Wednesday 15th October, the Europeana API will be unavailable for a period of up to two hours. 

At this stage they can't tell us exactly when this will be, but we will aim to provide notice here and via the @EuropeanaTech Twitter account as much in advance as possible. 

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and if you have any questions then please feel free to reply to the group, or contact me personally.

Hi,

It appears that our hosts are experiencing a major outage that is affecting all their customers. This has led to the API being unavailable, and intermittent access to our main Portal.

We apologise for any inconvenience and will obviously update the list when we have more news.
