What discovery client can be used within a service built with jersey 2 that registers in Eureka

Hi,

My research has not led me to an example on how to use eureka client within a service that also has jersey 2 libraries. I have attempted using the Eureka client but have come across its dependencies on Jersey 1. With the prolific use of spring boot and its latest dependencies in new enterprise solutions nowadays, it is difficult to justify a usage of jersey 1 mainly because of its age and the ever-decreasing speed of its development.

Would anyone here in the Eureka community be able to advise on alternative implementations of a DiscoveryClient which java applications can utilize and register towards an Eureka server?
