Another 'AAEEBL' sponsored event:
September is ePortfolio Showcase month on the AAEEBL Web site (http://
www.aaeebl.org/), and we'll be collecting and posting AAEEBL member
eportfolios as a resource so you can see what other people are doing
about not just talking the talk but walking and walk and actually
working on their own eportfolios.
If you are willing to share your eportfolio, please send email to Judy
Batson (
judyb...@me.com) with a brief note about what kind of
eportfolio you're sharing, why you developed one, and what you gained
through your eportfolio creation (1-3 sentences is fine.).
For those of you who have not yet started your eportfolio, we
recommend that you visit Out of Practice on Facebook (http://
www.facebook.com/pages/Out-of-Practice/177845802289222) where you will
find a group of practitioners who are sharing support and feedback as
they compile their own eportfolios. Led by friend to AAEEBL, Wende
Garrison, Out of Practice features resources and conversation about
eportfolio development. If you have wanted to create an eportfolio
for professional or personal reasons, this group is a good place to
start.
Please consider sharing your eportfolio to help make this a rich
resource. If your eportfolio is not "finished" yet, don't worry about
it. Most are "in process," with few completely finished. Your
audience will be both grateful and kind.

PS We have had some students interested in sharing their work too.
If you have a student or students who would like to share and
eportfolio, please ask them to contact me with the same information
I've asked you to send along with permission to publish their
eportfolio.
