Save the date – ePortfolios Australia Conference is back in 2012!

by eportfoliosaustralia

The ePortfolios Australia Conference 2012 (EAC2012) will be held at Australian Catholic University in North Sydney on 27-28 September.

This conference will showcase the diversity of eportfolio practice in Australia and beyond by bringing together national and international speakers from all levels of education as well as from various professional associations and industry areas.

Themed ‘Meeting Expectations – Achieving Goals’, EAC2012 will focus on effective eportfolio practice for: evidencing learning and professional standards; supporting quality assessment; and helping individuals achieve their goals.

A call for papers for EAC2012 will be announced shortly.

ePortfolios Australia Conference 2011 (EAC2011), held in Perth last October, attracted more than 200 participants from Australia, Fiji, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore and the United States.

EAC2011 featured more than 50 presentations and workshops exploring the ways eportfolios support pathways between education and training, employment and different industry areas.

Presentation slides from a number of the EAC2011 presentations are available from slideshare.net/eportfoliosaustralia/tag/eac2011 and all of the presentations are summarised in the EAC2011 Conference Book of Abstracts and Papers.
