Thunderbird 3.1.4
WebMail 1.3.9
WebMail Hotmail 1.2.29
5 Pop Three Accounts

It isn't emptying the junk or trash.

If you need anymore info, let me know.

It could be an issue with WebMail accounts. I haven't tried that yet.

There could be a couple of things to try.

1. Could you provide the console log messages? May be that will give
me some clue. Here's how:

* Install Console² extension from http://console2.mozdev.org/
* In Empty 'em Preferences, check the 'Enable console debug
messages'
checkbox
* Click OK
* Open Error Console (Tools -> Error Console)
* Clear the console by clicking on the 'Clear' button
* Make sure 'Messages' button is depressed
* Empty Junk & Trash (Tools -> Empty Junk & Trash)
* Console will now have many messages beginning with [Empty 'em].
Copy
all of them and paste into your reply

2. Create a new profile without the WebMail accounts, and try again.
If
it works, I can isolate the problem, to be related to WebMail
accounts.

In the meanwhile, I'll try to setup WebMail account and check for
myself.

Thanks for the report.

Here is the error:

Error: emptyem is not defined
Source file: chrome://messenger/content/messenger.xul
Line: 1

I created the new profile with only Console2 and Emtpyem extensions
installed and it worked. Must be an issue with Webmail.

This error usually means that the add-on was not loaded properly. Can
you open the console immediately after starting Thunderbird and see if
there are additional messages referencing emptyem?

Thanks,
Mahesh

Here is the only one I found for emptyem:

Error: redeclaration of var Cc
Source file: chrome://emptyem/content/overlay.js
Line: 37

That would explain the 'emptyem is not defined' error you mentioned
earlier.

I have seen this error in latest trunk (comm-central) nightly builds.
I'll need to fix it sometime in the near future. But I haven't seen
this error in any 3.1.* builds.

Let me play more with the WebMail/WebMail hotmail addons with Empty
'em and see if I can reproduce the issue in 3.1.* builds.

OK. If you need any additional information from me, let me know. I
didn't see this response come in my email box so email me directly if
you don't get a response from me.
