C-return undefined in bbdb create

When creating a new contact in bbdb, one needs to enter an empty string
to end the input of the (potentially multi-lined) address field. With
helm, the modeline suggests using C-RET or M-RET. It used to work but
recently, helm started complaining that C-return and M-RET are
undefined. I'm running helm, helm-bbdb and bbdb from melpa.

Yes, this have been fixed, see
https://github.com/emacs-helm/helm/issues/700
Probably updating helm will fix your problem.

It's indeed fixed in melpa.
