I could use some help with debugging my setup here https://github.com/mordocai/.emacs.d.

When using helm with projectile doing C-c p f(helm-projectile-find-file) to search files in project will sometimes crash emacs completely. I have not yet managed to get a backtrace from this and am not sure how.

Basically it happens only sometimes when in the middle of typing something into the C-c p f search. (Note that I have no idea what to call things, I just started using helm recently).

Can someone help me debug this issue? It is super annoying. I am using the MELPA version of helm(I update my packages almost every day) and it has been happening since I switched from ido to helm a few weeks ago.

Some more information I forgot to include:

I am on Mac OS X Yosemite.

I read https://github.com/bbatsov/projectile/issues/600 and am running the version of emacs suggested by https://github.com/bbatsov/projectile/issues/600#issuecomment-70315282 but it hasn't helped.

It also seems to be related to what I search. I was just able to consistently reproduce it on my (unfortunately proprietary) work codebase with the same search term each time. (A single letter in a rails codebase, G)

My guess based on this is that it has something to do the with the amount of results?

Can you open an issue on github and cross link with https://github.com/emacs-helm/helm/issues/779

More people will see it there.

I can. I actually didn't find that issue in my searching so I'm going to
try some of the things in there (Does it happen with only one display
connected, for instance). If I don't come to the same conclusion as that
issue (Not a problem with emacs helm) then I'll post an issue I think.
