Hello everyone,

I've recently made the switch to emacs-eclim from Meghanda mode simply because of the immense feature catalog. I've been loving it so far, but there's one feature I haven't found that I found to be quite useful in Meghanda mode.

The feature is that, if I place the cursor over an object, the full class name of the object instance appears in the mini buffer. I've found that extremely useful, especially when I'm looking at a new set of code, and I want to look up what class objects are without jumping to their definitions.

Is there a similar capability in emacs-eclim? And, if there isn't, is there interest in adding it as one?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I was browsing the Eclim project repository (on which Emacs Eclim is based), and as far as I can tell it does not support this feature.

Regards,
Nelson
