Hi all,

I am creating a small site dedicated to Elixir-related community annoucements, where Elixirists - rookies and veterans - can post whenever they created a new project, wrote a blog post or released a version update (in short: something akin to RubyFlow [1], but a bit different).

Why do we need this for Elixir (in my opinion)?

This is different from "Anybody else having fun with Elixir? #myelixirstatus". Although I think that kind of chatter is important and has found a very good place on Twitter, announcements deserve not to be drowned by all the other stuff in my Twitter feed.

So I want to create a site that is well integrated into the existing trends and habits of the community that focuses on the stuff that deserves to be "sticky". A venue that is well connected via GitHub, Twitter and RSS, so people don't have to log in everyday, but where people can post short updates on their creations as soon as they want something to be seen.

All of this is being build in the open on GitHub using Elixir, Phoenix, OAuth2, ExTwitter etc.

A screenshot of what this will look like is included in the GitHub repo's README [2], original announcement can be found on my blog [3].

Any feedback?

Best
René
