For those who aren't on our newsletter, I wanted to let everyone know that our crowdfunding for smarter polling is live on Indiegogo:

Polling with Smarter Voting Methods

We're collaborating with NORC at the University of Chicago to run this poll. It'll take a nationally representative sample and ask about the presidential elections using alternative voting methods.

At the moment, we have two weeks less to raise about $7K in order to reach our minimum goal. That will let us poll using plurality, approval, score, and ranked-style ballots. We simply don't have this kind of data available right now, so this is a rather landmark poll.

We have lots of details on the campaign page. I know there are a lot of theoretical people on this discussion group. Having that data would be a field day for a lot of you. But if we don't hit our goal, this will be a lost opportunity. And no one else is going to do this but us.
