What would the IMDB top 250 films list look like using a proportional system?

While it's obviously very interesting to have this list of the top 250 films by people's scores on the site, every film on there is likely to be something that appeals to a broad group of people. If instead (or as well), they had a sequential proportional list using some form of score-based proportional representation, then the list would presumably be far more wide-ranging in the types of films included and top films from more genres would get prominence. I think it would be very interesting.
