[RC] Talk on overview of Missile Systems

Hello all,

Remember the cool and hunky missiles in the cartoon Swat Kats in your childhood? Or the James Bond movies where 007 saves the day by aborting a deadly missile launch? Ever wondered what is the science behind working of a missile? Here is your chance to get to understand the working of these fascinating mass destroyers - as they grow from a concept to a full fledged weapon!  

Robotics Club presents a talk on "Overview of Missile System" to answer some of these question.

The talk is given by  'Mr Murali Mohan, Scientist, DRDO Hyderabad'. He has been associated with DRDO for 12 years now and is member of team Akash: Surface-to-Air Missile systems. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akash_(missile) )

 

The talk is aimed to give an insight of different types of missile systems and various subsystems in them followed by a brief description of Akash Missile System.
