eid applet not loading on Windows Vista

Hello,

so now the applet is working perfect under 64-bit operating systems,
but I still have this issue on Windows Vista (IE8 and Chrome, others
not tested).

System:
- Vista Ultimate SP2 32-bit
- Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18928
- Google Chrome Versie 5.0.375.99
- Bitdefender Internet Security 2009

Disabling the firewall did not resolve the issue.
I tested the same application on a Windows Vista system here and it
does work, so the issue must be something on that specific computer.
The applet is used in a public service application so I want to
guarantee that it works on all systems.
