SB AWE 64 Gold SP/DIF AC3?

On divx ac3 ribaga film, paigaldan ac3filter jupi, kuid see ei luba
valida spdif passthrough. Panen registrist jõuga ac3filter spdif=1,
videomängija ei leia koodekit.
Milles asi? Kas helikaart ei päde? Kas ac3filter ei päde?

Tjah, tundub, et olengi loll. Kaart on ikkagi kiviaegne DD/DTS
passthrough jaoks. Väidetavalt ei tule sb64-st 48kHz üldse läbi.

So, supporting the SB64 Gold would require decoding (in software)
the DD stream into its 6 components, SRC'ing (in software) each one,
re-encoding them (in software) into a 44.1kHz DD stream (presently
entirely too time-consuming to be practical), presuming DD decoders
can handle 44.1kHz DD (I think they can, at least in theory).
Since that's not practical, we'd have to drop back to something else.
We could decode the DD, downmix it to stereo, SRC it, and send it out
the digital out. We could decode the DD, downmix it to Dolby
Surround,

it, and use the DS3D software engine to place the sound sources in
3-space, and send it out the digital out.
None of that would be analog, of course.
With the SBLive, you just use AC3 Passthru mode and send the DD stream
right on through.

Nii ongi, proovisin järgi - kõik väljapakutu töötab, AC3 passthrough
ei tööta.
