Can i use echoprint to identify a radio station's id sound ?

Can i use echoprint to identify the station id sound of a given radio station? e.g. just before the news the radio station airs its station id sound, it is this station id sound i want to identify with echoprint. I guess i willl have to set up my own server and generate the code for the station id sound with the echoprint codegen. Right?
Most of the the station id sounds are only 2 or three seconds long. Is this long enough for echoprint to work properly? In the FAQ it is stated that "at least 20 seconds of audio signal is needed."
