Where does matching take place in the server code?

I understand that the 'fp.py' is the file which consists the code for matching the fingerprints in the server code. I also noticed that 'best_match_for_query()' sub routine and also in the 'query_fp()' but what i dont understand is the algorithm it applys to matching. That is I am not able to spot any code where the contents from Two fingerprints are Matched against each other. So in short, I would like to know how does the Server matching works and also where the matching is done. Can anyone help me out in understanding this?
