Query by Humming or detection of variants

Can echo-print support Query by Humming to detect song variants? Or does it only detect the exact recording?  Can it detect different versions or vocal only versions of the same song?

Hi Emin,

Echoprint does not support QBH, nor matching different versions or recordings of a song, because these are not its intended use cases. It is designed for matching the same recording, subject possibly to minor additional noise or coding artefacts. You would be better off using a system which is specifically designed for QBH.
