hi

i am trying to install codegen on ubuntu 14.04 and am getting the following error

$sudo apt-get install ffmpeg libboost1 libtag1-dev zlib1g-dev
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package ffmpeg is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'ffmpeg' has no installation candidate
E: Unable to locate package libboost1

any pointers would help !

Regards
Vivek

I did this:
    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mc3man/trusty-media
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install ffmpeg libboost-all-dev libtag1-dev zlib1g-dev
