Hello everybody! I'm new here... I'm developing a Java application to recognize the sounds that the animals do, so I need to have my own database with my own recorded sounds.

My question is if can I use Echoprint to match recorded sounds (from the mic) with the sounds in my database.

Also, if that were possible, where can I find tutorials for using this API?

Thanks in advance!

Echoprint is for matching exact repeats, like playback of existing
recordings. Animal sound recognition is about judging "similarity" of
sounds, which turns out to be much harder to do at comparable levels
of accuracy. There are a number of research approaches (check out the
IEEE D-CASE challenge), but nothing like an off-the-shelf solution
that I know of.

I know I'm late, but if you send me some samples (upload them to drive) I can try my algorithm and let you know with anything
