Hello!

I haven't worked in E-prime for a while and I decided to design a short task in which children will have to choose between 4 images displayed at once, one image that they consider to be correct by mouse click. Also, I would like E-prime to record their response time and accuracy from the moment of stimuli presentation to their mouse click.
How can I design this in E-prime? Can you please suggest a reference for this or maybe you might have some suggestions on how to tackle this issue?

Thank you very much!
Alexandra

Alexandra,

E-Prime 3 makes it much much easier to program this sort of thing. But
if you must do this in an earlier version of EP, then look at the
"Response Areas for Mouse Input" example that you may download from PST.
Bear in mind that PST examples often display poor programming
practices, so take the example as a starting point just to understand
the principles, apply your own wisdom to that, and build from there.
