I know related topics have been discussed here before, but, still I cannot get my head around how to solve this issue.

I want to collect response times for multiple responses (keys ‘1’, ‘2’, ‘3’, and ‘4’ on the keyboard) during one trial (a video sequence). The participants are only allowed to press one key at the time, but are allowed to change key as many times they want throughout the trial. I want to be able to analyse response times for each key press (in my current design, each key press is being logged, but response accuracy is logged only for the first response and response time only for the final response.

Note: I have not used inline scrips before, but I am keen to learn if necessary.

Please let me know if I have to provide any further information in order to help you help me.

Many thanks

Viktor

Viktor,

I would have you start with the "Multiple Response Collection" example
that you may download from the PST website. That will involve some
inline code. Keep in mind that the examples from PST do not always
show the best programming practices, but they do have the virtue of
giving you an actual working example to start from.

Many thanks for this, David. I adapted the inline code from the 'Multiple Response Collection' and we now get response times for each response.

Many thanks again.

Viktor
