Lift licence - Kone lifts

Dear Members,

Is your society taking lift license from the Government regularly every
year? I believe the inspectors always take bribes for issuing the
certificates!

Has anyone has Kone lifts in their society and have AMC with them?

Dear Sir,

We have one Kone Lift in our AIFF Football House .
Due to some oversight by concerned persons the licence was not renewed
for five years.
We started the process for renewal this week only.
We sent a person to get the forms which was not easy and looking for graft.
The arrears have been deposited in SBI concerned branch.Now nightmare
will start before the inspection.

Our lifts  are also being maintained by Kone.  The Licence is required its renewal every year and it cannot be obtaained without greasing the  palms of the inspector.
