Dear all,
I have been having many problems with the installation of dspace-cris. I have been trying to have a working system for the last month but with no luck. I have sent a couple of emails to the dspace technical list but unfortunately I have not been able to fix the problems.
Initially I was using jdk8 and tomcat8 and then I thought I would try using jdk7 and tomcat7 just in case the problems occurred due to them. I have cleared my server and installed all the prerequisites.
Java
root@LIS08IST00:~# java -version
java version "1.7.0_95"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.6.4) (7u95-2.6.4-3)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.95-b01, mixed mode)
Tomcat
root@LIS08IST00:/usr/share/tomcat7/bin# ./version.sh
Using CATALINA_BASE: /usr/share/tomcat7
Using CATALINA_HOME: /usr/share/tomcat7
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /usr/share/tomcat7/temp
Using JRE_HOME: /usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-amd64/jre/
Using CLASSPATH: /usr/share/tomcat7/bin/bootstrap.jar:/usr/share/tomcat7/bin/tomcat-juli.jar
Server version: Apache Tomcat/7.0.68 (Ubuntu)
Server built: Jun 27 2016 18:13:17 UTC
Server number: 7.0.68.0
OS Name: Linux
OS Version: 4.4.0-28-generic
Architecture: amd64
JVM Version: 1.7.0_95-b00
JVM Vendor: Oracle Corporation
Now I get many different errors both on the dpsace logs and tomcat7 logs.
In particular in the dspace logs I get a solr file throwing an undefined field id error:

I also get errors in the coccoon.log and other errors in the tomcat7 logs which I have attached.
Can anyone help?? We are desperately trying to set the system up as we want to use the functionality at our university.
Kind regards,
