[Dspace-tech] java error with ItemImport

This may not be a dSpace problem per se but I'm hoping I can get some
help from the list.
When trying to run ItemImport I get the following error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
javax/net/ssl/SSLSocket

org.dspace.storage.rdbms.DatabaseManager.initialize(DatabaseManager.java:1114)

org.dspace.storage.rdbms.DatabaseManager.getConnection(DatabaseManager.java:381)
at org.dspace.core.Context.<init>(Context.java:102)
at org.dspace.app.itemimport.ItemImport.main(ItemImport.java:224)

Does anyone have any suggestion as to what the problem is?
