[Dspace-tech] Problem Installing dspace 1.5.2

I am trying to install DSpace release 1.5.2. I am running Fedora 8 and using the following package:
java version "1.6.0_06"
Apache Ant version 1.7.1
Maven version: 2.0.9
I have set everthing well as my installation of dspace 1.4.1 is running smoothly.
I am behind a firewall. I have set the proxy setting in /etc/maven/settings.xml as directed on http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-proxies.html . I have gone a step further and set the proxy settings in /home/dspace/.m2/settings.xml. However, when, as user dspace, I run :
$ mvn package I am getting the following error.
