Just wanted to let people know I replaced the broken casters on the house MIG cart with slightly beefier ones. Do I need to tell someone when I do stuff like that? Also, ran out of .030 welding wire in the middle of a project, so I got a refill role of .035 and a couple corresponding tips Also got a jar of anti-splatter goop for us. This round's on the Science Center ;-)

Thanks for helping out! I don't use the welding gear but I'm sure the people who do will be thankful.

Andy,

Generally you don't need to let people know if you make things better.  It is usually a good idea to give the area champion a heads up so that you don't duplicate work.  If you want to get reimbursed for supplies then you need to sync up with the area champion before purchasing so that they know to budget for it.

Thanks for fixing the cart.

Andy: What Ray said, plus; Ben is the primary area champion for the garage. Anytime a question like that pops up, ask him. I know that at least in this case, he was curious who the kind person who fixed the wheels was. Thank you for fixing that. We know who broke it and were waiting a short(!) while to see if he'd man up and fix what he'd broke. ..but there was a better than 50% chance that wouldn't happen and we would've had to, so thank you again.

Don

Zeke: Which person in this thread were you asking?

No problem, I just need to wheel the thing into the garage, which is annoying enough as it is, much less with a broken wheel. Had to get a work project done, so it couldn't wait. Glad to contribute a bit. I'll be in tomorrow night again, so I'll see some of ya'll then.

Don: anybody, I ended up going home and grabbing my key anyways so it didn't matter. (I was going to say something but I'm trying not to spam the group, Google is already filtering out some of my messages for some reason)

wrong keychain. Think "something to put your keys on".
