Hello Makers!

I'm Dennis Fogle.  I've started a new 3D printing service bureau in Pella.  We have high-end industrial 3D printers offer SLA, SLS, and FDM services.   We also sell new and used equipment.  I have a need for a software guru to help me understand a service dongle for one of my machines.  Is anybody interested in a side job or trade for 3D printing?   Thanks.   I hope to make it to the open house tonight.

Hope to see you at open house -- even if tonight doesn't work out, stop by any Tuesday evening or watch our calendar for other events.

There are a handful of software engineers here. Would you be able to share what programming language(s) would be involved, or what the make/model of the dongle is (if it's an off-the-shelf part), or other specifics? I am not trying to pry for anything proprietary, but if there is information you are able to share it would help people know whether it's a job they can handle.

Hi Tim,

This is a service dongle made by the manufacturer of a particular machine.  I have one now but I need to give it back.  I want to see if anyone in the group understands these and could maybe snoop the software to be able to duplicate what this dongle is doing.  I would like to work on my own machine and need this dongle to get into some diagnostics.
