Locksport meeting sponsor?

Anyone willing to host the local chapter of Locksport on June 29th or July 6th? They're hurting for meeting space. Needs two members to volunteer to host them. 

I mean, they could probably get in on their own, but I think they want us to like them.

Hi all.  I'm trying to resurrect the DSM Locksport / TOOOL chapter.  While I never knew Rance I've heard so many great stories I know I have big shoes to fill.  But I'm sure he'd want it to keep going and here's where I need some help.  If you like picking locks, bypassing physical security, or just having a good laugh watching others try, come join us.  I'm hoping to use the Area 515 maker space (at least until we outgrow it) for a meeting location, and it's been suggested that 'twould be better if someone who was actually a member let us into the space in lieu of us just letting ourselves in. :)

Follow @DSM_Locksport on twitter for my bits about meetings and the rare exceptional story from the physical security world or TOOOL.  I keep my personal ramblings out of there.

I'm sorry Zeke, I'm just not ok with you being one of the two required responsible members for hosting this. However, you can still attend if your parents are fine with you learning how to pick locks :). 

And yes, you can totally tell your beginner friend after the host members and Arden have confirmed the date and time.

Thanks all!  Word is spreading (like smoldering wet grass, but ya gotta start somewhere).  When can I stop by in advance to see what the space looks like now, haven't been there since Sheri from LMG did her talk and I think you've expanded since then.

We have our normal open house on Tuesday evenings.  There will be people there those evenings.  Otherwise, look at the calendar for other events or just propose a time and someone will let you know if they can be down there.

This ... but that said, the front half of the space isn't normally laid out like a classroom. Feel free to stop in during open house for an updated look at what the space usually looks like!
