To whoever nominated Area515 for the GICU GiveIowa program, thank you!
We are one of GiveIowa's selected charities for December 2017. This is a program sponsored by the Greater Iowa Credit Union to help local non-profit organizations. They are donating $500, and they have listed us on their crowdfunding platform through December. In addition to their $500 donation, the credit union will cover the transaction fees (basically credit card processing fees) for any donations made through GiveIowa.
Please check out https://giveiowa.org/ and share it on social media and whatnot. The goal is to raise an additional $500 from community donations, and visibility helps a ton. We could use the money for space improvements -- particularly, we have to figure out how to add ventilation to the garage both to make it a better place to weld and to vent our new kiln.
