Is it me, or is Dropbox missing vital tools for business admins?

Spent some of today getting my ear chewed off about Dropbox at a company I look after.
Some of the perfectly reasonable things they want to do include:
Set up user groups EG UK, US etc where they can easily control who is in each group
Assign certain folders to the user groups EG UK should see UK folder but not have sight of US and vice versa.
NOT have the situation where users end up sharing copies of folders and creating duplicates. Finding out why a folder that's been deleted keeps popping up is driving me bonkers!
It seems incredible that so far I haven't discovered a way of doing this without sharing folders with individual users, or sharing folders with the entire company!
Maybe I'm missing something - I hope so!
Perhaps someone can show me something I've clearly missed?
Thanks - am prepared to eat humble pie/stand in the corner with the Dunce's hat on etc.
