You get a personal email address where email (and attachments) sent to that address go to a Dropbox folder on your DB account.

Use case: a wedding or funeral or other event, everybody is snapping pictures. You'd like an easy way to collate all the pictures on one spot.

Not everybody uses e.g. Facebook or G+ or Flickr yada yada.

Everybody (almost) has email! So give people your shared Dropbox email...

Once all photos arrive, you move them into a shared Dropbox folder and share that folder back to people.
