You’ve definitely got COMPASS_EXTERNAL set to “1” for that compass? For internal compasses changing the compass-orient has no effect so having that compass-external parameter set incorrectly would explain what you’re seeing.

Hi there,
setting the orientation for external compass in the parameter list has no influence on the compass readout.
Neither for the internal nor for the external compass. Turning the module helps.
Could it be that setting the compass orientation is not working in linux?
