Friday's swimming meeting

Dear friends, This is just a reminder about Friday, September 23, for our first meeting of the fall. We will be at Discover Aquatics pool at 110 Delphi Road NW, Olympia, on the west side just off highway 101. The time is 6-8:30 pm. We will start with a light supper and short meeting in their party room around 6 and then swim as long as you want. It is a warm saline pool, very nice. They have life jackets for little ones. If you haven’t already let me know you are coming, please do so because we need to know how many lifeguards to hire. So far we have over 40 people. We have a small Strider bicycle that was donated and we will have a drawing for it.

Then the Buddy Walk is on October 1. We won’t have an October meeting unless someone out there wants to organize something, like a Halloween party. The November meeting is Nov. 15, more to come on that.

Caleb ended up having adenoid removal surgery on Monday and can’t go swimming yet.  Sorry for the late notice.  I’d forgotten until this e-mail popped up.  Next time…Ann Tebbs
