I would like to use open type fonts with dompdf.

My initial attempt at using open type fonts consisted of converting
open type fonts to true type fonts but the results have been very hit
and miss, acrobat often reports that the fonts have errors.

I have been experimenting with R&OS to keep things simple however I'm
open to using pdflib instead. Pdflib can use "OpenType fonts (TTF,
OTF) with PostScript or TrueType outlines". Will this work with fonts
that are included with photoshop and other adobe products?

Are there other approaches I should consider? Are there any resources
on this topic out there I have missed?

Thanks!

I personally haven't tried any OpenType fonts and I don't believe
there is much info on using OpenType fonts with DOMPDF. I'll add this
to the list of things we need to test, but I wouldn't expect any
issues to be resolved in the upcoming release.

PDFLib is a fairly expensive solution to your problem. You can try it
out prior to purchase, however, to determine if it will even work for
you.
