Making Dashboard Real Time

 Hi ,

I am new to both django and oscar . I am working on an online ecommerce website using django-oscar. While playing around with the dashboard I found that the Orders list does not show real-time data .

For example on placing a new order the list of orders does not get updated in real-time, the page needs to be reloaded for the newly placed order to appear in the list of all orders.

I have a use-case where I would want the dashboard to show real time data especially for list of orders . The page needs to show updated list of orders (without reloading the page ) every time a new order is placed.

Webosockets might be the solution to implement the above use case.I was looking into the Channels library but I am not so sure about it.

I would appreciate any tips or solutions for the use case so as to make the dashboard show realtime data.
