DB connection pooling

I am about to launch an ecommerce site I've been developing with oscar and wonder whether oscar does anything to handle db connection pooling or not.

I use heroku postgresql and my plan's connection is limited to 120. Would it be still a good idea to consider adding connection pooling like pg-bouncer?
