Django-haystack hasn't implemented support for whoosh faceting. There are a couple of forks of django-haystack that add basic faceting support you'll need to run one of those.

There is a pending pull request but it hasn't been merged yet.

Is there a reason you can't run Solr?

Hi Lukasz,

I've had a stab at getting Oscar working with Elasticsearch (which does
support faceting in Haystack), but realised that parts of the search app
are not backend-agnostic. So Solr is the only option at the moment. I've
written a guide on how to set it up:
