Hi TaShou,

I visit Taipei from time to time. What is your interest in biology specifically?
Maybe we can meet next time I am there. ^_^
Paul.

Hi ! it may seem weird to respond the post from 4 years ago,but I still think it's a good chance to find somebody who has the same hobby especially from the same country! I am Richard ,from Taipei , I am gonna enroll my university and major in biotechnology soon ,before that ,l have tried to access different websites to find the topic I like...I found I am interested in snythetic biology,I would like to be a biohacker too! my blueprint is to manipulate microorganism to yield biodegradable and robust material to replace the plastics, and I also want to attend IGEM ,can you give me some suggestions about that? How should I start this journey?

iGEM is always a great start to meet like-minded people and get that "everything is possible" feeling. But if you are really passionate, you'll find your way regardless.
