DIYBio Barcelona Open call for the collaboratory Prototyp_ome

Dear biohackers, 

A few months back, DIYBio Barcelona moved from MADE Barcelona to Hangar (Barcelona). This movement, not only allowed to get us a bigger space, but also to perform some collaborations as the one that I want to present you today.

Prototyp_ome is a collaboratory composed by Hangar (Barcelona), the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB), DiYBioBarcelona, Faboratory (Barcelona) and Pechblenda (Calafou, Anoia).

The collaboratory aims to re-visit, re-think, co-design and co-develop processes, tools and technologies for biological exploration, from a feminist perspective and focusing on low cost diagnosis for health self-management.

The open residencies programme of Prototyp_ome consists of three intensive two weeks meetings among hackers, artists, makers, grassroots collectives, citizens and scientists to rethink, research and develop processes, technologies and tools for biological exploration, particularly applied to health diagnosis
