I am looking for methods to identify transcriptional start and stop sites in a particular bacteria I am studying. I read a bit on E coli transcriptional start sites, and found they are predicted using dRNA-seq. Are there any other/better ways to find them than just RNA-seq, or is there a specific form of RNA-seq I should be looking for? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Also, any experience with companies that can do this? Particularly that are friendly to DIY customers? Thanks
