I use an editor at work that allows me to enable the Disqus plugin in an online help system that is used by my company's customers. The company doesn't want Disqus comments to also be posted to a user's Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ account. They want users to provide an email address and their name using only the Guest option in the Disqus comment box.

I've searched several web sites that provide customization tips for Disqus but haven't come across any that mention how to disable social logins in Disqus. Does anyone here know of a way to do that? I'm no code expert by any means, but would certainly give it a try if someone has a way of doing this.

thanks very much for your help,
donna

Hi Donna,

Disqus does not post any comments to any other social networks. The social login buttons are there to speed up the sign-up and user verification process. It is also not possible to disable/remove these options.
