If you could visit any planet, which one would you choose and why? Answer here and come back to respond to at least 2 classmates. Remember your netiquette and discussion board rules!

I would personally like to visit Jupiter, due to it's extreme weather and storms. It would really seem like a great time there, other than immediate death from the pressure and lack of oxygen.

I would go to Mars, because it's somewhat habitable and the closest to the Earth.

I would visit Jupiter because if Jupiter in an of itself is not habitable, i could travel to the somewhat nearby 16 moons Jupiter has to offer.

Very true but what if we had suits that could withstand such conditions?

I would visit Mars, because it is a short trip and it is the only planet that won't kill me.

If i could visit any planet (assuming you mean i could visit planets that we can't actually live or survive in) then I would visit the sun. I would visit the sun because it is in the center of the Milky Way and all planets go around it so it is somewhat special.

I would like to visit Mars, because of how close it is to Earth and it is the planet that is said to be the most livable other than Earth

I would probably visit Earth as it is the most habitable planet in our solar system! Other than that i would most likely visit Mercury as it is a planet we dont know all that much about and we would probably learn a lot of information if someone did visit it.

I never actually thought about how wings of Saturn would look from the surface that would be a really cool thing to see.

If we had suits that could withstand extreme conditions we still couldn't go to far away planets just because of how far they are from us, we would simply die of old age while we are on our way to those planets.

The planet that would interest me the most to visit is Uranus, because of the fact that it is at a 90° angle, and I would love to see what the weather is like.

In my honest opinion, I would want to visit Neptune because with it having a methane atmosphere mixed with other elements would be fun to cruise about. If I were to go there, I would also try to find any form of life (even death of a creature) to see how it has either adapted to the deadly gas or just to find out what type of life can even touch the planet itself.

That would be intresting although it would smell quite bad... and be quite explosive https://goo.gl/iFEcqr

I don't think Saturn is the farthest from the Earth, because Uranus and Neptune aren't dwarf planets, but I do agree that it does have some very amazing rings.

If i could visit any planet I'd choose to visit Neptune. Although the temperature, poison gas, and the intense gravity would kill me, I heard it rains diamonds so that should be cool.
