Hi all,

I am very surprised to see that https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=712615 has accepted a fix for Chrome 59 for this severe crash behaviour, which seems to leave a whole bunch of people afraid to share anything on a second monitor.

Not sure what demographics you all feel use screen sharing, but I can tell you, if you have 2 monitors (which covers a whole lot of professional and home users), it's more than a 50% chance that they will get this crash on screen sharing.

I personally don't want to live in fear of crashing my whole web space a few times a day for the next 6 weeks to wait for Chrome 59.

I have commented on the bug. but this may not get very far. What is the process to kick of reconsideration of merging in this fix for a more timely update to 58?

Thanks to team for pushing this. A merge to 58 is approved, which is much better state than current, though there are still some issues which need attention.

See the bug link for details.
