Negative number of reducers?

Should I be worried that I have a negative number of reducers waiting to run? This seems to happen pretty frequently and I just want to make sure this isn't silently doing something bad to my data.

Oops, I should mention that every now and then a job seems to hang indefinitely and this is always accompanied by this.

This is a well-known issue in 0.5.2. Please upgrade to Disco 0.5.3.

The data should be OK though in either case.

In 0.5.3 you might still see negative numbers (https://github.com/discoproject/disco/issues/569) but it is much harder to hit.
