Does anyone have any advice regarding accessing or repairing 'corrupt' StuffIt (.sit) files?

Have tried StuffIt Expander and the command line version of Unarchiver.

Thank you,

Jess

What does 'file' identify the file as?

Does lsar give any info?

It's not necessarily corrupt -- it may be that it can only be accessed in a very old version of StuffIt running natively in a classic Mac environment or an emulator. Worth getting one set up and downloading an old StuffIt Expander from the Macintosh Garden to check.
