The UC Curation Center (UC3) of the California Digital Library (CDL) is seeking a Senior Developer to join our expanding, dynamic team at one of the world’s premiere digital curation programs. As a Senior Developer, you will apply advanced software concepts and agile techniques for Java and Ruby/Rails to plan, create, maintain, enhance, and operate robust, high-availability (24x7) services responsive to the evolving needs of UC3 stakeholders. As part of the development team, you will liaison with UC3 service managers, DevOps administrator, and the CDL’s infrastructure and technology staff.
The UC Curation Center (UC3) of the California Digital Library (CDL) is seeking a DevOps Administrator / Developer to join our expanding, dynamic team at one of the world’s premiere digital curation programs. As a DevOps/Developer you will be involved in Java and Ruby/Rails application-level development, maintenance, and enhancement, as well as the architectural design, operational support, and system-level administration of three parallel instances (dev, stage, production), running on over 60 servers in Amazon AWS, with 200 TB of dedicated cloud storage. You will also liaison with infrastructure and information technology staff at both the CDL and UCOP levels to assure the reliability and robustness of our production services.
