Hi,

I'm trying to change the hostname / domain name of my pod.

I edit the diaspora.yml file and change the environment.url from "http://10.0.0.110:80" to "https://my-domain.com" but when new user sign up they are given a profile name of "test...@10.0.0.110:80"

If I simply comment out the #url line then new users are given a profile url of "testuser@localhost:3000" - despite them a) not being local and b) port 3000 isn't even open

Where else do I need to change the hostname settings?

Thanks!

Once you've created the database you can't (or better) shouldn't change the hostname setting in the diaspora.yml.
The hostname stands also in the database (at multiple places).

Also your users are getting all invalidated on other pods.
So: to change the hostname you have to delete and reinitialize  your Database!
